The Journey is About to Begin

Thanks for joining me! I am about to embark on what my friends and I are calling, my mid-life gap year. I have given my notice at work and have only two weeks left in the corporate world. We sold our house in less than 48 hours and now I’m sorting out belongings of my first 49 years of life. I’m visiting family in Colorado and other parts of the country to prepare myself for saying goodbye and to fully launch into a world of self-discovery, new beginnings and amazing adventures. I hope you will join me as I document this journey through pictures, thoughts and experiences. The liftoff begins July 19, 2018 as I leave Denver and travel to Madrid, Spain. See you soon!

Hi -I'm Robyn. I live in Denver, Colorado but love to travel and explore the world. After taking a 1 year sabbatical in 2018 to travel, I realized that getting out into the world whether by myself or with the perfect travel companion makes my life complete. I started my website during my solo travels and am now transitioning it to better reflect what travel means to me. Thank you for visiting!

  2. As I have watched Robyn grow and learn about her environment she has always astounded me. And as her mother , I had a front row seat to watch her. From the time she was able to walk and talk she has been on a journey — a journey of exploration and fulfillment . She has always strived to do her best. And that meant to be the best person she could be. And for everyone whose life she has touched you know what I’m saying. She loves easily and with her entire heart . Just ask her daughter Jordan– who has had the privilege to have such an amazing mother. who taught her everything she knows about being a good steward of life and everything that is a part of the entire picture of humanity. Yes and she has always been my sunshine. When she lived at home there was a brightness that illuminated everything and every person she was near. I have missed my sunshine and having her this week -end she has once again brought her light with her and the every place she travels to throughout her adventure will shine a little brighter while she is there. Look out world — here she comes.

I love her so very, very, much and I’ll miss her but I know she is prepared to forge her way — wherever she goes.

    Love,
    Mom
